If ever there was way to lose sleep the sentence above will do the trick!.
How much do I take off, and from where, what happens if I take too much off, can I re align it if I change the mounting position, how do I get the radius of the moulding to match that of the fuel inlet so there is an equal distance around it.
And so it goes on and on round and round in your head 4:00 am comes and goes until your forced to: a) have sex with the wife, b) have a wank or c) get up and have a bowl of corn flakes. Just do anything to get some sleep and clear your mind of a triangular piece of plastic that was designed to fit a C90 and not an X Country.

You know full well it has nothing to do with KTM, being manly or butch, so no need to deflect or even defect
...... it's more to do with a shitty piece of plastic that you would ridicule if were on a WCDon't do it JB, you will spend more time fixing it than riding it

You could just fit a rear guard cover from an x challenge, they are finished off properly straight out the box
