Yes, the Nav2 is over priced.
Yes, it doesn't provide much more than you get with the garmin.
No, you cant get the BMW mount without buying the Nav2
Yes, the BMW mount is far far better than anything RAM, Touratech et al produce.
The way I saw it was that the Nav2 was worth (to me) the extra £300-400. I justified this because of the following
* I could pick the bike up fully sorted including the Nav and autocom already installed (and warrantied) by BMW.
* You cannot buy the Nav2 bracket with the additional buttons seperately. it does not work with the garmin 2610. It is very useful - you try zooming in/out using the touch screen with gloves
* Its got a bigger datacard.
* Your looking at >£100 for a mount, if you buy the garmin. You can get them for less, but you get what you pay for etc.
