BMW insurance

I've got my GS insured with BMW (Equity Redstar) and just asked if I'm covered in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia, they advised Croatia yes but not Slovenia or Bosnia. Any one else had this and what's the way around it, they suggest buying insurance to cover those areas.

Should include Slovenia, as its part of EC, not Bosnia, where you can buy at Border. Next time you get Insurance bear in mind that Ageas & Aviva will issue a Green card, for a fee and as I found recently Ageas was cheaper.
