Hi, it's on 52k miles. I'm the third owner and believe it was originally supplied as a sweetener to the head of a division of traffic branch although that's obviously a rumour. the last owner was extremely meticulous with it (changing brake fluid / final drive fluids etc) hence he also bought every spare going so i have full luggage, spare topboxes, headlights and loads of stuff in boxes. Ive done about 3k miles on it from January and it's not mint (I'm too honest - it's a used bike) and i think has been painted at one point. if you wanted it be to really good you'd strip and paint the engine but then i dont think youd use it. it is a lovely thing and relatively rapid for an old bike. That looks very tidy,Barry.
What mileage and history has it got?
Had a K75 and a K100 and I prefered the 75I must admit to having a soft spot for the K75RT. It was one of my favourite steeds while on the motorcycle section along with the Norton Rotary Interpol.
Hut van did you buy a rack off me??Hi, it's on 52k miles. I originally bought this in 2020 from an old chap in London with 42K miles and did a very comprehensive re-commission on it
Also converted it to RS wheels and RS rear rack/grab rails and small top box
I then ran it to commute from Northumberland up to Aberdeen and back during 2020/2021 (excluding COVID lockdown periods)
I sold it to a fellow member off here in 2022 with 47K miles
Roll forward to 2025 and its not turned a wheel and I have bought it back , collecting it next Wednesday
A minor recommission will see it back on the road by the end of next week ready for winter duty
