Shame! I am doing the Friday/Saturday course that weekend with two friends.

I've just signed up (along with mate form work) for this course. Looking to pick up some basic skills for riding the 1200 off tarmac.
Anyone else gonna be there on these dates?

That is too bad TP, I remember you were booked sometime in August. I think I got just about the last open 1200 for this season. Perhaps we can compare notes at the mid-Eastland's (or is that east-midlands

I'm a bit stiff & sore too....it was blast. Some the best fun I've had.
Rained both days, but it was warm so not uncomfortable....actually think the wet made for a better experience. Learning to deal with mud on the 1200 was was something I needed.....and I need not add that it was much better learning this on a hired bike instead of my own
I had an off on a downhill run into a ford...minor and could recover, make a downhill start and complete the ford....but my mate snapped a quick picture I should be able to share when I get it off him.
I do still plan to make midlands so hope to see you there.

Knew you would enjoy it - Simon Pavey's lad took pictures which I should get through the post but did not get any myself

I had a variety of offs but they were basically mainly low speed. Think I know where you are talking about on that ford.
