Booked on the Level 1 course for 2-3 August. Anyone from here going on these dates? I'm staying at the Abercrave 1-2 August.

This will be my first time on any rider training since I got my licence, which must be about 20 years ago:eek:

I did do a bike safe day in May, but that's not really rider training, just observed rides. Observer said I was "slightly mad at times" so I might be o.k. on the off road stuff.

They put me on the Level 1-Advanced as I have done some offroad (although this was about 15 year ago) and mountain biking, so hopefully I'll keep up.

I'm on the 1200GS, as: I have one/the dream is to do an Adventure style tour / I'll see how the 1200 and I cope offroad without smashing mine up:augie

Hi,

I'll be going on that same course. I went at the end of March for Level 1 basic, and I'm going back to do Level 1 advanced.

I had a great time, the training was excellent so I'm looking forward to going back. I'll be riding a X-Country which I had last time as it was great fun and suited me being so short. I did however, get a go on the 1200 and 1200GSA which were fantastic, albeit a little scary to get on and off when you're only 5ft 1in.

Nice one. See you there. As said, I expect the 1200 could be a bit of a handful, although I like a challenge.
