Additional information.
The BMW Connected Ride Cradle is a mount that lets you use your smartphone on your BMW motorcycle, particularly as a GPS. Using the BMW Motorrad Connected app (version 4.0 minimum), you can display vehicle data while riding, such as: lean angle, acceleration and deceleration. Connection and pairing are done only once, during initial setup.
If your motorcycle is equipped with a Multi-Controller and the "Onboard Computer Pro" special equipment, additional features are available. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth (Bluetooth Low Energy version 4.2 minimum) lets you use the app with the same controls as the GPS Navigator VI.
Once installed on the holder, your phone is charged, either by induction or via USB-C port
On compatible motorcycles, the holder can be locked for added security.
