I have been exchanging emails with Garmin regarding an ongoing issue with the Nav-V.
There is a compatibility issue with some models of mobile phone and the Bluetooth pairing, the issue being there will be no phone audio when you make/take a call.
My particular issue was with the Nokia Lumia 930 phone running Windows 8.1 which is now confirmed as currently incompatible. This issue isn't limited to just this phone/model/brand
The compatibility list http://my.garmin.com/bluetooth/phones.faces offers no help as the Nav-V isn't listed as a device (too new and not branded "Garmin") and there is no compatible Garmin branded device.
There also is no hard or fast list of what is actually compatible with the Nav-V.
As Bluetooth is a standard everything should just work but different phone manufacturers put their own twists on the Bluetooth stack.
Garmin are aware if this kind of issue but would not confirm they are actively working on it for any phone so just keep and eye out for updates to your Garmin device.
It is also possible that a phone update might fix this so check your phone has the latest software.
In short if your phone works, "great" but if it does't don't expect it to anytime soon.
