) tour wherever you want, trail ride across the Pyrenees, track day, you name it, it will do it. As a motorcycle, and as a motorcyclist, it gives me everything I want. (Apart from proper grunt / speed but hey ho ...grown out of that now... ). It is a brilliant bike.
my GS made it back (like last time) and with a few small faults
I love my GSA too, it really is a bike that will go shopping two up in Piccadilly, green laning on the way home two up (.. done it..) tour wherever you want, trail ride across the Pyrenees, track day, you name it, it will do it. But! (big but), I'm not going to sit here and slag off the blokes that complain about reliability, 'cos they're right.
In the twenty odd years of Jap bikes ive owned, I've had nothing, nothing go wrong. VFR's, Pan's, ZX's, courier bikes ... they've all been utterly reliable.
My 2010 GSA, (which i love to bits), with only twelve and a half thousand miles, has had a new front shock, new clutch, new fuel gauge (and the second one's fucked but I can't be arsed to take it in..) and the starter button is intermittent and it normally takes about three or four prods to start.
(Don't even get me going about the works RT's and the problems they've had....)
So you BM die hards .... stop kiddin' yerselves that the sun shines out of a Boxers arse!! much as I love this GSA, and as much as I'll probably keep it for years and years, and as much as I can't think of a different bike I'd rather have ... it can't hold a candle to Jap reliability.![]()
though

its all about being prepared , the ultimate accessory is to always make sure you pack one of these old but useful hondas
