Ive looked and looked! 
...there was a thread on here which had the part number for the BMW part which screws into the threaded part the rear mudguard was screwed onto... Its a genuine BMw part and costs approx £4. Can anyone tell me what part number it is or the link which shows the pic and details etc please. 
A clue: Its black with BMW stamped on it and used when the pastic guard is removed and replaced with a hugger.
