BMW R100R, what is it worth?

A friend of mine is selling his R1100R and is wondering what is it worth?

It's a 1998, Irish registered machine with two owners from new. 35,000KM and it comes with panniers. The ABS/ light doesn't work. It has had a cosmetic tart up a few years ago. I haven't seen it but he describes it as VGC.
