Selling this lovely modern classic as I am moving onto an R1150GS. The previous owner on here had the plastic tank and front beak professionally resprayed last year and it’s a top quality job. Tyres I have recently fitted and everything works as it should. Engine starts on the button and runs sweetly. The rims could do with a polish which I would say is the only thing that needs doing to make her even nicer to look at. The rhs fork seal is slightly weeping after winter storage, but should hopefully seal itself with use. Also, the rear subframe has been powder coated recently too. Lots of main dealer stamps in the service book. An appreciating and iconic GS. Can be viewed near Haywards Heath. Asking £1795 …..Thanks

Lovely bike, excellent price... Strangely, the qualities of the 1100GS become more apparent the more "improved" bikes you ride... Probably the last of the bikes purely designed by BMW before being diluted by buyer opinions...

…..and in the best colour! 😁

With those particular graphics it will be a metal tank
I had exactly the same bike & colour new in 1997
But the 1100 above has a plastic tank, so it’s either an earlier bike or the original metal tank has been replaced.

I've the same... Mines had a tank swap at some point which saves any worry about rust...!😆 If I spent a month or two working hard to refurb mine it may be 75% of Brodies...🤣

My buddy is looking for a scooter, so a long shot possibly but we could be up for some sort of deal on a 250/350/400 scooter? 🛵
