It was meant to be a keeper, but as I don’t use her she is for sale…
She is a 1150 GSA ,2005 Reg …silver with grey red seat.
2 owners including me.
milage only 12047, I did only 500 mls last year and she is sorned since .
Full original luggage

She had been laid up for about 4 yrs and came with 11682 mls on the clock
I rebuild and overhauled trying to keep it as close as possible to the original silver tank, grey red seat BMW R1150 GS Adventure.

-new fuel pump,, plus sender plate and filter .
-all new fuel lines, inside tank and outside with new quick release.
-changed original Showa suspension front and back to Hyperpro which I had serviced by Denzo, as good as new.
- Added original twin lights from Hella with new AutoSwitch on a new Nippy Norman stainless steel bar.
-new brake pads all around with new anti wobble plates and pins and all brakes cleaned .
- new Metzler Tourance tyres front and back.done 500 mls.
-changed original BMW Adventure screen to a GIVI Screen +GS fixtures, so this screen is fully adjustable
-new Nippy Norman front oil cooler protector with the GSA logo.
-changed the original black factory lowered seat to the red/ grey seat with standard height
- added hockey puck enlarger to side stand,
- new Gel battery
-New air filter/ oil filter/fuel filter 2024…done 500 mls
- changed engine, gear box and bevel drive oils.( May 2024)
- 4 new plugs
- overhauled the original starter with a Motorworks Kit
- polished bash plate
-
No issues with break servo, works fine
I even kept the original brake pads from 2005 as part of the history…😀
Current on Ctek battery maintenance with Ctek attachment
Current on SORN.
The idea was to keep as close as possible to original as she came in 2005
Drives like a new bike .

Comes with original
-original GSA panniers and top box, all one key
-GSA screen+ fixtures,
-lowered factory seat in black,
-original shocks front and back.
-grey/red Baglux tank cover and Bagalux tankbag
-C-tech charger
-original brake pads from 2005:)
-spare ABS servo unit which I acquired just in case
- Migsel Speedo ring StatNav fixture(current not fitted)
- Touratech Garmin Zum XT lockable mount( current not fitted)

I wanted £5750.- ono with all the parts as a package.
Not interested selling individual parts.
I am sure I forgot bits.

this is a lovely bike,
Give me a shout if interested
Regards

I can’t believe you’re selling this!!! I’ve seen it in the flesh the other day and as discussed there won’t be many of these about!! Total bargain at that price!

just to be clear
She is 20 years old and not coming out of the showroom.
There are a few paint bubbles on the rear diff and swing arm,…
Wheelhubs, rims and gearbox-case are superb, front cover looks good .
And H…if she doesn’t sell she stays in my stable….she needs a good home.

I owned one

Did some heavy long miles across Europe on it… was not tired or cold even though I should have been given the miles and weather

Great bikes. Now on an Africa Twin as I commute into London but fond memories of these

GLWS but I don’t thing you need luck, I’m the end the good ones like this do sell well

I thought the SE was the one to buy.
It was the one people were getting flushed about for a while but an excellent, low mileage one like this that is 9/10's standard will hold its own... The only downside is that people may be tempted to not use it as it was intended as they are bikes for riding not garage queens...

Mines a garage queen. I do use it though. I just like to keep it spotless. Nowt wrong with that.

I meant ones saved for the collectability rather than than used and pampered... Like buying a bake in a crate and not wanting to build it etc😉

All good chaps, she is what she is.
The SE is only white tank and white beak…if anybody wishes an SE I can arrange that…
Otherwise chappers it’s a FOR Sale thread, not a discussion about the pros and cons which 1150 is better.
I appreciate your enthusiasm..but keep it somewhere else for now….
Thanks chappers
