BMW R1150R

Hello, I have had my 1150R for two weeks now, and have enjoyed riding it, but I dont know wether there is a problem, or is it normal,

1. Selecting first gear when coming to a halt, its very clunky.
2. After a long run 100 miles or so it appears to produce more noise. ie rattles more.

Is this normal or do I have a problem, have never ridden a BMW before so have nothing to refer to.

Finnally any meets in the Andover / Hampshire area.

Any advice much appriciated.

Nothing regular like cos when it comes to committing themselves the dis-honorable members for Hants/Wilts/Berks are a lazy bunch of slopey shoulders. If anything happens in that area its either at SPC in Alton or the bakery tour at Bakerman's Bakehouse in Andover and usually attended from memers from further out on a ride out.

And of course we have a National weekend event being hosted at The Weyhill Fair in July11-13th July 2003 that's one you really must try and make.
