I believe all the twin cam GSAs where floats

My 2010 gs twin cam is float. I think you can see it if you lift the fuel cap and shine a torch in?!

2010 GSA should be a float but don`t let it be a deal breaker, It is possible to remove a fuel strip and fit a float alter the wiring and re-configure the ECU.
If you know someone with a GS911, plug it in and it will tell you which is fitted.

The 2010 twin cam RTs were strip but the GS probably got the float before the RT anyway

I had a 2010 GSA TC and it had the strip, had to be replaced three times during my period of ownership.

my 2010 gs has the float and the vent on the final drive. my understanding is they both arrived at the same time. build date is 04/10

Mines an August 2010, 30 year anniversary model, and has the fuel strip and the final drive breather.

Hmmm, I was convinced they didn’t revert to the float until 2012 model year....right at the last knocking of the oil cooled bikes.

My 2010 twin cam gas had a strip. It failed once and was fine for the next 30,000 miles until sold.

A lot depended on what spec of bike you had.

Early bikes with no onboard computer & (ZFE low), had a float.

adding the onboard computer option (ZFE Basic or high) and you got a strip

The GSA's i believe got a strip as they all came with onboard computer.

I believe Denzo (Luke) has found a workaround using the float conversion, but you need the correct ZFE to do the pinout mod

Sorry but not strictly true! My May built 2010 anniversary Gs has the computer, zfe high, all the toys and a float.

I’ve got the onboard computer on my 2010 twin cam 1200gs and it definitely has a float sensor, I took out filler cap to check.
