Bmw r1250gs 2019 11000 miles.....ENGINE STALLING

I’ve now been told by the dealer that there separate software for the fuel injection and software for the tft !!!!!!

That's interesting have only ever seen TFT s/w updates comments before - although one would have thought if they updated the fuel injection s/w they would have done the TFT as well to the latest version?

I'm not going to say they don't have separate updates, as on my previous Triumph Tiger 1200, I had both a chassis and TFT software update, so I guess there may well be separate updates for BMW (I will ask when mine goes in on 9th June - as I'm getting slight hesitancy when cruising once the engine comes up to temperature - which could be fuelling)

I ended up changing fob battery with no effect.

Another thing that went belly up in this chain of events was the bike wouldn’t charge via the CAN BUS, I had to go straight to the battery.

I needed to charge it ‘cause the battery went flat too… just in case those things happen too.

Funny you should say that as well @Cyber - since my "issues" earlier this week, mine's stopped doing that too (using the BMW charger). Booked in with dealer for a check on 9th June so hopefully will be sorted then. Apart from checks, they said they will be updating my software to 022_007_020

Good stuff… last thing to see is engine warning lights and TFT error messages….
