First of all Hello I'm the new owner of an ex demo Bmw R1300 GSA TE in Racing Red, I absolutely love it.
It has the large Electric screen and the active ride height.
I rode it without earplugs yesterday, the screen is so smooth and quiet.
I was getting a harsh rattling vibration coming from the front somewhere, sounds like its coming from the front of the bike somewhere, lower than the screen.
I don't get it when I rev at a stand still, only when Im in gear, and I notice it much more when Im doing low speeds without ear plugs in.
Anyone else had this on theirs?

Check the cardboard and clothes pegs in the spokes haven’t come loose . It’s a bit of a crude way to improve engine note .

Maybe the Mods should do a better job and remove comments which are irrelevant.
Had a similar vibration with a after market hugger. It sounded like it was coming from the front. Took it off in the end. Do you have a front wheel fender extender? Or any other aftermarket parts?

No its completely standard, I’ve only had it 1 week. I only noticed the rattling when i rode it for the first time without earplugs.

As said if your dealer where you bought it is close to you, have them take a look at it
Fact you can only hear it without ear plugs suggests something is loose somewhere and vibrates when your riding. I’d have gone with the beak or front mud guard as first inspection points but as it’s the front it’s wise for them to give it the once over.

My sincere apology for having a sense of humour 😘

When you say ‘in gear’ - is that in gear when at a standstill or openly when moving

Considering he hasn't bean here long he may or not have one. Banter and such no mercy in the Pub. You would last 2 seconds in the BMW Club, mind probably all dead by now....

Whatever happened to that is a sense of humour 🙄.

Two things I would try.

Get on a steep hill - turn the engine off then roll down the hill.

Secondly

jack the bike up and spin the front wheel as fast as you can

Third

Jack the back end up

Start engine and put in gear

Any noise?
I will have a go, thanks for the suggestions.
