BMW spotlights

Saw the 1200 GSA at the show on Sunday. Fitted with extra spotlights. Clean forgot to ask whether they would now be available as an official BMW extra on the 1200Gs. I wonder whether anyone has any info on this. By the way I thought the 1200 GSA looked awsome. It won't be for me as its too tall, too heavy, and overspecced for my needs, but if i was a few inches taller, or more importantly, a better rider, I would be seriously tempted.

I was wondering exactly the same thing, presumably the ADV has the same wiring as the 12gs so I will interested to see If they are available too.

Ther are just Hella DE's in fancy plastic covers, you will probably save a fortune by just buying the Hellas and a lightbar.

I'm sure most people will be interested in whether you can get the BMW switchgear and wiring.

I wouldn't want to be fiddling with the wiring on the bike myself, and I think it was BTBR who does a lot of lights for members on the site said he was unwilling to work on the 12gs because of the wiring system. So if they're available I will probably be asking them to fit some on mine in due course, after giving them huge quantities of my hard earned cash of course.

Until he gets his own 12gs (I read such a rumour in another thread sometime recently) and sorts that out with some additional illumination. Then we'll be fighting for a place in the queue at his door (or I will anyway). There's a whole untapped market out there..................

Just buy the TT kit with zenon driving and fogs, comes with full fitting kit and english instructions, a tad smaller diameter than the ones on the advneture , knowing BMW they will want even more dosh than TT
Mind its a pity BMW cant put proper lights on their bikes in the first place
