Hmm, just an update on this thread. I had failed to notice the thread running on and JS's comments, just as well really.
You'll have to try harder than that JS
Jefferies refitted the zip into the correct position at my 6k service.
I didn't ask for it to be done.They didn't mention it and I didn't even notice until I was riding home.
The panel looks new with no sign of marking from the old zip. I even wonder if the panel has been replaced because I'm sure that the writing on the top was worn and now it's as clear as new.
The bag fits fine if you use the strap to pull the bag back against the elastic.
So it's a big thankyou to Jefferies then.
Off there tomorrow to get a new clutch slave cylinder under warranty and a mod to the front discs.
