BMW topbox carrier - will it fit?

Does anyone know if the 1150GSA carrier will fit a standard 1150? Here is a pic

i sold my carrier to a lad with a standard 1150 and i fitted it for him with a few extra brackets and mods ...

That's a pain. I know the rear subframes are identical so I thought it would be fairly straightforward.

Are the brackets simple to knock up?

The track in your picture doesn't fix to the sub frame...it mounts on top of the rack that's there (an the rack in your image is made to fit the ADV rack. But as suggested, where there's a will, there's a way

Yes, longer bolts and and a thin metal bracket similar to meccano , wasnt difficult but it was about 10 yrs ago so cant remember everything.

Makes sense...I know it fits to the ally rack but in my ignorance I assumed the mounting points to the subframe - which are the same across these models - might influence the carrier design. That idea looks dumb now it's in print.
