Thanks all, had a nasty off on the night of the 2nd, 13 broken bones and a collapsed lung, farmer left the road up by me in an appalling condition, didn't stand a chance, catapulted into a gully, bike came out far better than me, improving by the day and on the mend, up in the CUH for a wee spell, full recovery expected, thanks for your concern all...

Hope that you or yours have reported the circumstances to the local council. Farmers are required under the 1993 Roads Act to clean up their shit from the road.

All the best for a speedy recovery. I heard from my cousin in the fire brigade, who was in the station for the call, that the road was in an awful condition.
I hope you get compensation and the offending farmer is severely reprimanded for his carelessness and stupidity.
