I'd just saw off the foot rest hanger, get the bolt out and then replace with all new parts - will probably be the fastest solution![]()

Those bolts can be stupid tight and locktighted, bit late now but always apply heat to any bmw major bolt fixing before attempting removal, only thing i can think of is drill the head off and heat the remaining stud up and use a decent stud remover

I'm sure he forgot to mention:Only problem maybe as bolt is now effectively hollow, as it grips it will crush it and twist off, but you never know.

So I’ve got a new GS and I can’t get my pillion peg bolts out for love nor money.
No way I can fit my Givi pannier rails unless I can get them out.
I don’t have an impact driver or a heat gun.
I’ve stopped trying before I mash the heads.
It’s going into the dealer on Friday because the bars aren’t straight so I’m hoping the dealer can get the bolts out.
Any other ideas before I do my usual ‘I’m no engineer - please help me’ speech!
