booked in for 6000 mile service

All booked in next Wednesday @ Cannons for 6k service,

Let's hope its uneventfull, Its a while you wait service.

Can't find a service schedule, but presume its just oil n filter.

I just hate letting others service my vehicles.

No heads off till 12000 ,so how does engine oil ,oil filter,gearbox oil ,brake fluid ,general health check and syncronysation,test blagg and a bill of what ever your dealer charges.Expect to pay more at 12000 when extra labour charge for valve check an new plugs and more liquid gold (i.e oil) or source your own and supply

I remember asking for four new plugs for my 12GS and the parts guy asking for £12 a plug. They came in lovely white boxes with a wee BMW symbol on them, but were actually NGK's. I went to the local motor factors and bought the very same plugs for £3 each, ie 4 for the price of 1 from BMW.
