Just treated myself to some new Dayotona Roadstars (very nice boot). They are chunkier than my previous RST boots and I am having some difficulty with the gear change.I think i may need a longer lever. anybody tried any aftermarket levers and have any recommendations?

I use SW Motech one. Besides being adjustible in lenght, it's retractible in casa of fall (so it wouldn't break). It also comes with steel wire you can attach if you do a lot of offroading to prevent catching branches behind the lever. I didn't use the wire as I don't go offroad and even if I do it's always good gravel road.

Fitted a Wunderlich aftermarket lever. It was easy to fit, even for a guy like me with 5 thumbs, and works very well with my size 15 Daytona's. Good luck, stay safe and well.

I bought the black BMW one as I also found my Daytona's need a smidge more room
I also wanted to go with the black theme and did a deal when buying the bike
Only the peg rotates like a cam
The adjustment is greater on non OEM levers but combined with the adjustable footrests it works great for me
Not contemplating any off road

I has the SW Motech one on my previous S1000XR and they are well made

I also have a sw motech lever and wear size 11 daytona trans tourman boots . Plenty of room.

I bought an adjustable alloy one off Aliexpress. £25 , good quality branded "Savage" . Adjusts for length and height. Toe piece rotates and folds back to hekp avoid damage.

I have a genuine bmw gear lever for sale if interested. The end is adjustable to give more clearance for chunky boots.
