Just a quick heads-up on the 2008 Boreen Run, Jockser and myself are organizing it this year and
it promises to be one of the best yet, it's ideal for the GS and these events are always great craic.

This years "Boreen Run" will begin near Rosslare, Co.Wexford on the Saturday of the bank holiday
weekend (August 2nd) and will follow some of the most scenic boreens in Wexford, Cork, and Tipperary.

No Gerry, not this year.

Last year's Riders was a very poor show in my opinion. The route, whilst covering some good roads, crossed back over itself a few times and was generally pretty unimaginative. Compared to Riders Rallies of years gone by it seemed to have a feckit it'll do air about it. Very disappointing.

Without wishing to blow our own trumpets, Jockser and I (with the help of some others) seem to put much more effort into a single day ride on our events than went into RR07.

I was involved in some of the route planning and recceing for last year's Boreen and wanted to do one. Add to that that I have finaly given in to Mandy who has wanted to do the BR for some time now.

Only last week I got an e-mail from Kay asking if Mandy and I would man a checkpoint on the 08 RR. I replied declining the invite and said why I would not be attending this year. To date I have not had a reply. Ah well.

Depends on how busy it is We're limited to about 40 peeps so if it's full, it's full Some places available at present but dunno for how long .....
