I thought this would be as good a place as any to post this. Firstly, confession time, as someone is bound to pick up on it... I've not been near this forum in years (sorry!). However, there was a time... But very glad to see it's still going strong and a lot of the old names are still here!
Now, to the point: I don't have a bike any more, sold it as I ended up moving close to a station on the Elizabeth line so it only came out at weekends. I'm organising a charity bicycle ride in Essex on 7th October and looking to borrow or rent a bike for the minimum of cost and wondered if anyone here had any tips or connections who might perhaps be willing to lend a vehicle for a day (essentially a morning, but realistically will be most of the day) to help support the ride. Having done this sort of thing before I found two wheels are a lot better as a support vehicle than four.
Any ideas or suggestions welcome.
