for those using these tools a recent round of updates - just wanted to point out after a year long fight and me recently testing two special beta versions, Motoscan have at last reinstated the full VO list that vanished on older R1200GS'

at least 18 months ago the VO info vanished for my 2007 bike, but worked normally on the 2011 one - its now resolved on the older bike.

Also reminded he's forgotten to add the alarm module prep mode for pairing remote fobs, I asked about adding a long time ago - two years back I bought an alarm from a main dealer for the 2011 bike - but they no longer remembered how to pair fobs to the module - I suspect coz they never got the orig tool out and tried to do things with the modern useless junk. I went off and found the crazy user manual on the internet that clearly says you can DIY adding fobs - but it didn't want to work no matter how many times they or I tried it.

So back then I got the GS911 out the cupboard - they had been working on retrofit stuff and the alarm was a bit of fun they'd been including - although I'd been having fun with the VO updating element (adding Option 630), but that got resolved and with the (then) current update, I went into fob pairing mode (it somehow jogs the bikes ant brain to thinking about life) and the GS 911 added both fobs in a few minutes with no hiccups at all

Motoscan also appear to fail to give any info on the alarm battery condition ? so I just nagged about adding that too

Voltage is shown at the bottom while connected. You can understand a bit of the state checking voltage at rest, but yes a warning is useful.

I wish they did a bit of a refresh of the app in general. I run it on an old android phone and it's a bit buggy and clunky at times.
But my biggest pet peeve is that it needs to be connected to the internet each time you launch it to check the license.

thats bike battery voltage - I'm on about alarm batteries at 6v

he needs a scan and clear all modules - its a bit odd 8 years down the line we have to go module by module
