Picked this up on Sunday.

Not mint, but certainly very well looked after for a 1990. Only 46K on the clock. Only a small tear on the saddle on the negative side but Ive fixed that proffesionally with a slice of black gaffer tape :mmmm.

Just love that torquey engine.

I had the earlier 8 valve model on a 'D' plate. Only issue I had with it was wind buffeting off the screen, apart from that it was a grand bike which pulled well with loads of torque. Handled OK too. I put a Hagon shock on which seemed to suit it fine.

Good looking bike.

I have 4 "K" series bikes in my collection ( i think ?? i'll have to double check i may have a couple of old specimens kicking around at the back of the "tat" storage garage)..

Two K100RS, one special edition blue\white . The other i use as a loan bike.
One K1100LT (9K miles)
One K100RS 16v ( 4K miles )

And enough spares and parts to last a lifetime :D

looks nice, hows it ride like :augie

Sound :)

Ive had 3 '87 8 valves before and was hoping the 16v lump would be as enjoyable. It is. To be honest there aint a great deal of difference. More noticable are the slightly wider bars which are much more comfortable, and the brakes work!

I was tempted by a K11RS, but Im glad I stuck to the 1000.
