Whit have I done noo?

Listened tae Cunning Fox that's whit. I was a' for headin' up the A9 but CF sez "We'll head ower by Glen Quaich" and sets sail fae Kinross wi' me and Voyager ahent. Gets to near the Glen Quaich turnoff and CF stops for a pish. I kept goin and went ower Glen Quaich followed by Voyager. It was soon paddlin' through snaw time :blast :blast It taen us nearly an oor tae get tae Kenmore. :(

I've noo cancelled my application to be a Courier in Alaska.

Foxy kent better and went ower the Sma' Glen and when we met up wi' him he maintained he hadnae said Glen Quiach but me and Voyager baith reckon that he did. :thumb

Mind you, I should have listed tae Voyager's suggestion o' aboot turnin' when we werenae long intae the snaw. But I kent better :blast Whit a feckin goat I am :blast (and no' a mountain wan)

As if that wisnae bad enough, it was pishin o' rain and freezin a' the way hame and I had my feckin visor opened cos I could see feck all cos o' it foggin up.

A **** o' a day. I should ha'e been like some of the ithers and simply just no' bothered turnin' up or lettin' anybody ken...or looked oot the windae this morning and said, "Feck it, I'll just pretend my windcreen is knackered and I need to get it fixed" :augie

I'm gonnie enjoy a drink the night :D

youze auld cnuts an yer hearin aids

:toungincheek

I'm quite pleased with that - in a non sadistic manner if you know what I mean - Because, erm, well just because, well actually while freezin my 'nads off in the garage checking the beastie over for tomorrow................I realised my MOT had ran out back in October!...............S'true. Honest. I work away from home and had (yet again) forgotten all about it.
The last time it was the road tax!
We'll get together and do a non-scheduled run across the water sometime before too long if you're up for it. The wee Western Ferries are quite handy

As far as June goes...........well it's not likely. Ullapool is one of my most favourite places but :nenau my work rotation has me somewhere between a Norwegian Fiord and .............well anywhere really then.

It's difficult to plan ahead but you never know.
Believe it or not I've been looking to hook up with Blackal for about a year!

Christ......there's a confession.

Hope you feel better soon

cheers archie i did feel a bit better today ane o me biker buds dragged me oot on my suzukidr350 for a run round the back forest trails for a few hours "magic" (really lucky tae have this round here) i often use the wee ferries as a leg on a big circuit fae here really handy!!!!!!!! ye need tae watch the tax noo wi yon sorn thigyyy it aye breaks me wee hert tae gie the feds ony mair cash than is absolutely necessary especially given the state o the roads round sooth ayrshire:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah: hivna felt brave enough tae try the gsa intae the forestry trails yeetbeerjug:

What a nice day out:D

Good to meet up with friends old and new and in such a lovely place- the snow gave a very seasonal theme to the day:eek:

Fruitcake and I headed up the Ben Lawyers road but turned back once we hit the first of the snow- good job we did as we met an auld boy at the tea room who lived on the Bridge of Balgie side- he told us the road was impassable.. Wouldnae have stopped Ronno and Voyager though:bow:bow

Bacon is downstairs thawing out in the jacuzzi..

Phoaties to follow later.

Aw FFS

I was watchin Man United on Setanta and the signal has fecked up. Been aff for aboot 15 mins noo. :(

Norman Collier was da'en the commentary and camera work before it blew up :blast

Lucky White Heather anybidy? :tears :tears :tears

Fruitcake and I were a wee bit late getting away from the hoose- the weans were eager tae meet their new house guest and wouldnae settle..

Wid huv been nae bother tae Ronno and Voyager though :bow

So, we thought we would have been the last to arrive by a long way but Cunning Fox and Turpin were the only ones there when we arrived- Nae sign of Ronno and Voyager and nae phone signal- so we warmed up with some fine soup and waited.

Eventually the ice King and Queen arrived ( I'll leave you to work out which one is which..) and Bacon was introduced to Wully by Cunning Fox while Ronno made some running repairs to his pannier.
