Where's the road with all the snow? We're on the acres of sand, gravel and potholes stage now.

Your photos remind me of a time I went to the Dukes Pass and couldn't get past the snow. It had melted everywhere else so I had't thought it would still be blocked. :blast

I think the bloke who used to have the "Boxertools bench" tearoom is now at the fishing ponds place under the Friarton Bridge at Perth. Access to it from the slip road on the Dundee side of the bridge. Follow a narow, muddy track under the bridge. The restaurant/cafe building is lovely inside with lots of wood panelling, a central wood burning stove and leather settees. Bacon rolls and tea are nice too! I've only been in there once but it's worth a look. There was a book about Glen Lyon on a table and I got chatting to the man about it and he told me he used to be at that tearoom but didn't mention exactly when he left/sold it.

Wish I'd known it would have been a far better day than that Poxy excuse for a Bike Show.
