Boxxox to the NEC

Was going down tomorrow BUT - 8 hours in the car (4 each way), Sunday is the busiest day so it will be packed. I only really want to look at the Multistrada 1100 7 the new Tiger 1050 to see if i fancy a change, but the better build quality & all round ability of the GS will make me see sense eventually, any way i can look at a bike at my local dealer.

So as i have a pass out for the day a trip over the border to maybe Peebles or Galashields will be in order. May even get back for the Moto GP

I suddenly have higher priorities i.e a car with a blown head-gasket.

Heaven knows I don't want to spend anymore money...

I went to the NEC yesterday.. don't expect to see a Multistrada there. Ducati hasn't bothered to turn up! Aprilia, Moto Guzzi & Cagiva haven't bothered either.

The new Tiger is well tasty though. Lovely looking bike. Though it just looks like a Sprint ST with wide handlebars.

BMW stand is good. But I'm biased!

If you want to view a bike,you`re far better off going to a Dealer`s showroom than blowing loads of dosh and a day of your life going to the plastic bike glitz fest at the NEC.

Also,you can get a proper feel for the bike as it won`t be bolted to a cradle to protect all the lever pullers from toppling over.
