This is a long shot and hopefully I can explain my dilemma. I have a R1200GS to which I have added the BMW mounting bar as per attachment.
In order to mount my Zumo to the bike I purchased a Touratech V2 locking cradle as well as the Canbus connector. When it came to mounting the cradle to the mounting bar I found that the circular part of the supplied brackets were not wide enough to go over the mounting bar so that it doesn't fit flush. I have mounted the cradle but there is a gap between the bracket and the bar which look naff to be honest. I have contacted Nippy Normans where I got the cradle from, who in turn contacted Touratech but apparently there is no solution to this. I have also searched on this forum to see if somebody else had posted similar but couldn't find anything.
I would appreciate any advice as to get round this issue please.
