Looking for a bit of info for braided hoses for 1150 gs. is there a spesific hose kit on the market and can anyone recommend a manufacturer. not relishing the brake sticking on situation one bit..

Cheers..:help:help:help

I bought a Goodridge set from Motorworks. If in doubt exactly what you need give them a call and they will make sure you buy the correct hoses.

I got a Goodridge set of ss braided hoses from motorworks for the old GS. They'll need your chassis number. I got some, fitted without a hitch. Transformed the bike. And then it got nicked :-(

There is a company called Hel that do braided hoses but I believe there are a few different variations in the GS hoses so they prefer to have your old hoses in order they can match them up. Steptoe did do them for a while but I believe no longer does because of the problems he had getting kits to fit. However I may talking bow locks.

I got a set of Galfer hoses from Calsport in Birmingham (sell on fleabay)!- was about £85 for front hoses and £27 for rear; fitted perfectly.

Plus 1 for Motorworks Goodridge.
I needed one 60mm longer for the front as I run Roxrisers on my 1150GS, no problem for Motorworks to order this.
Transformed the braking along with Ferodo Platinum pads all round.
Plus delivery to me in NZ under a week with Royal Mail

Venhill may make a set as well.

Everybody and their Granny makes stainless braided lines but in most the fittings are swaged on (not a problem with that) but the fittings will corrode.
Venhill will "factory make" lines similar to Hel, Goodridge but they also supply stainless banjo and bolts.
But you or a competent person makes the lines up.
A lot of premade lines may not have the exact angles that the originals from the factory had so you might get slight routing problems.
But Venhill's polished stainless fittings and black coated lines may sway you from the 1993 Ducati 900SS look
