My Touratech hard part (front) has worn a hole in the outer sheath on my brake hose, its the one that goes from the connection on the frame down to a joint on the mud guard. I want to replace this hose with a braided steel replacment. If my budget will strech far enough i will change all the front hoses (and maybe the back) at the same time whilst i am at it. Does any one know if the BM adventure hoses will fit my 1100? Also who makes good hoses and which are poo? Cheers in advance:beerjug:

Braided Hoses

Busters were advertising braided hoses at £7.00 a line! Not sure if they can supply to fit Beemers, give them a try. sorry don't have the contact number but you can find them on the net, go to GOOGLE and type in Busters Bike Accessories that should do it.
Myself, when the warranty expires on the 1150, will be probably fitting HEL lines, same again ...GOOGLE etc. They do advertise in RIDE magazine.
Hope this is useful, make sure you only purchase steel unioned stuff, don't be tempted by any cheap offers to take alloy unions they are not road legal, and the salt in winter causes big problems.

I fitted one to the front of my 650GS & have just fitted one to my 650 Dakar.
They were doing a special last week. Any hose, any ends, in any colour..........£25 incl P&P (single hose)
Just give them a call & tell them what bike you have. They have templates for just about every model.
Well worth the small investment IMO

Hel is on its way!

Cheers the Mechanic and Jon, I have orderd a set of yellow hoses from the Hel website:beer:

I put HEL's on my 1100 a little while back. You won't be disappointed. Very well made with beautiful stainless fittings and they work too .

Make sure the banjo bolt fits in the union before ripping the old lines off. The mechanic who fitted my Hel lines found the union deformed enough so as not to allow the banjo bolt to enter.
