Brake caliper bolts....

On the brake caliper there are four M8x40 bolts, two either side of the pad retainer pin, does anybody know the proper torque for these?

The torque that im after is for the bolts that hold the calliper together, there are four per calliper.

You could try more generic guidance for torque values based on the bolt size and thread rate. Something like http://www.engineershandbook.com/Tables/torque.htm
There are many versions of these tables, as long as you take into account what the bolt is made from and what material the female thread is cut in ( caliper material) you should be able to derive a suitable value.

I am not splitting the calliper, just replacing the bolts for cosmetic reasons
