I have a 52 plate 1150 GSA on which i want to change the caliper bolts to stainless ones. I know the calipers were changed mid 2002 from BMW to Brembo ones. How can i tell the difference? Just want to make sure I order the right stainless ones.

Cheers

I thought it was the other way round? The calipers used to have Brembo literally written on them, then later bikes have BMW on. My old 1150 was a 2002 and the calipers were marked as BMW.

Only reason I ask is because sent question to the seller of the stainless bolts and he said was bmw then brembo? mine have got bmw stamped on. So presume i need bmw ones?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but, I'm fairly sure that they were originally Brembo branded Brembo's to 2002. Then they became BMW branded Brembo's followed by BMW branded Tokico's around 2005.

Tokico calipers were only used for a short time and only fitted to a small number of bikes (mostly servo braked) at the same time as the BMW badged calipers where still being used .
BMW stopped using the tokico calipers and carried on using the BMW badged calipers on the 1200 models. Still in use today.
