I have just got my calipers back for my RD350 YPVS project the pictures does not do them justice they are like new even the bolts have been done in the olive green coating just like when they left the factory.

So anyone looking into getting they calipers restored I can recommend Nick Chambers at RD Bitz http://www.rd-bitz.co/ for a top quality job just a shame to fit them and get them dirty.

Here is another photo
The white bits on the black are just dust and a few finger marks from handling them

Looking superb. :thumb

You may have trouble at fluid bleeding time with the pistons pushed all the way in like that...they can block the fluid entrance to the chamber behind the piston.

Also, shouldn't they have the rubber gaiters fitted to the pistons?
Or weren't the Yamaha ones so equipped?

Nice one. :thumb

Show us the rest of the bike then.....go on mistah...purleez. :beerjug:

Nice, heard he does a good job, but shouldn't the mounting bolts be chromed, I think all mine are, or is this for a later F1/2 (not sure about them?)

Not sure if they should be green or chrome its not a show standard rebuild just a tidy usable bike for a bit of fun.

I sorted some insurance out last night £54 TPFT did not see the point of fully comp on a 25+ year old bike took it for MOT this morning passed with no advisories and taxed it so its on the road.

I then did a few miles around the local area and it felt a bit flat no real kick I put this down to been stood took it back home and checked oil water etc. All checked out ok so nows time for a longer run rode up to Seaways Cafe at Fridaythrope about 50 miles round trip started off running fine but still not right then the misfire started on the way back by the time I am home its just about on one cylinder when in the power band but will run fine cruising at about 60 a new set of plugs later all is well pulling fine no more misfire

Looks great. :beerjug:

I thought you had the world's biggest throttle rocker for a moment.....then I realised it's the number plate on the bike behind. :D

Enjoy. :thumb
