I am about to change the front discs on my 2011 GSA.
Should I use new bolts or is it okay to use the old ones with a bit of loctite once cleaned up?
Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers

the bolts are really tight, use a heat gun to soften the bm loctite even then they arnt easy to remove and you will need a very good quality torx socket.
replace with new, they are not that dear.imo obviously

Replace, heads general soft as s*** so would not survive a second attempt at undoing, so for the shake of a few beer tokens replace.

Thanks chaps, I think to be on the safe side I will replace. Will drop into dealer tomorrow and pick up a set.
Thanks again.

The screw heads are fine but can be damaged with the wrong sized Torx bit. Always check and choose the largest bit that fits. Sounds simple, but the one under size often looks correct so check.

Just an update.
Front wheel off this morning, couldn't budge the first bolt I tried. Tried second bolt and knackered torx socket! (You know that feeling you get when you know things are going to go wrong?)
So, a trip to see Brian at BGM with a loose wheel and he fitted the new discs for me while I waited, Great bloke.
Now fitted back onto bike with new pads, job done.
Cheers Guys for all the help.
Just for reference, I bought the Brembo discs and pads from www.carpimoto.com in Italy. Cost was 260 euros including delivery by Fedex. Delivery took 5 days and was tracked all the way. Hope this helps.

Homer Simson had it spot on, "if at first you don't succeed, give up" BGM would be very happy they only had one knackered bolt to remove.
