Does any brake disc fit, what I mean is there a difference in brake discs from a bike with ABS and a bike without??

I need new discs on the front of my GSA

You'll need a second mortgage for BWM disks, Galfer etc are cheaper.

Yes I have noticed lol
Been looking at the ones from James Sherlock, they seem reasonably priced.
I remember a few years ago looking at putting wavy discs on my R1 and looked at the ones from China, £100 they were where as galfer where over £300. My mate says"its your life your buying there you know"
Hence I never bought them in the end. But what is a fair price for discs??
Is £120 for a pair too cheap?? Baring in mind they are not from china

Will the discs/abs ring off an '04-'07 R1200GS fit an '09?

Any experience here with the Armstrong discs?

My dilemma is that I have two sets of wheels (street tire/cast, knobby tire/spoke) and I'm wearing out the knobbies because I don't want to move the discs/ring from set to set.

Apparently not, they only go up to an early 07 BMW must have changed the discs somehow on later models.

Thats what I thought. The German e-bay site that sells EBC discs describes the 04-07 discs as having "loose floaters" and the 07-09 as "fixed floaters". Nor sure what that means, but starting in 07 the GS was fitted with ABSII. Thanks for the help.
