Hi
I’m looking for front and rear break discs for my 2011 TC. All I can find is expensive Brembo upgrades or cheap Chinese. Is there a middle ground?
I don’t race around so don’t really need upgrades but I would like some quality.
I found basic Brembo rears but no fronts.
Thanks for any help/info.

Check if Braking produces any.
They normally provide high quality brake disks at decent prices. They are based in Italy.

The Brembos, considering how long a couple of discs will last mileage-wise, are not that expensive at the end of the day. They are also slightly thicker.

I just ordered some galfer front ones, £200 for pair with bobbins.

Do the brake discs on bike wear out faster than those on cars

Why ,there’s less mass to slow down .
Its in the margins.
1200/1250 discs come in at 4.5mm new with a wear limit of 4mm so it doesn`t take very long to wear down if you use the brakes much (noting the interaction of F/R applications) albeit that they are stainless steel.
When I decide to get a move on then I will be using the brakes in a more agressive way than in the car.
A car disc could be (say) 22mm thick and made of cast iron.

It depends upon the same factors as a car.
What kind of use the vehicle gets.
At almost 150.000 miles I'm only on my second set of discs.
Plenty of wear left in them too.
I use EBC HH pads too which some say can wear the discs faster.
I don't commute into London for instance.
Generally I'm someone who is gentle on the brakes, engine braking helps a lot as does planning ahead.
I have done a fair amount of long journeys over the years too, though I rarely do a lot of motorway.
