I've fitted a new set of disks and pads to my 1150GS. I've still got a bit of pulsing on the lever which I assume is the spring washers?

Secondly, the disks themselves actually move a little on their mounts. This isn't movement because of the spring washers, it's in the other direction (the same way the wheel moves). Is this going to be worn bobbins to replace as well?

I've read all the threads about this but they seem to refer to lateral movement caused by wear on the hub more than anything else.

I've had the same problem for a while now. Sorted it by getting another pair of wheels:aidan

Seriously though, they rattled like a rattly thing. As you say, radial movement. I tried new disc's, new bobbins, new springy washers, still did it. Did more searching...tried 1 mm washers between the disc and the mounting lugs. That stopped the rattling but introduced a nasty pulsing:blast...probably needs a bit more faffing about adjusting the bolts.

To be honest I'm just gonna use the other wheels. Try a search, there's a few threads on this. Good luck

I don't think this is related to the wheels themselves because the direction of movement means that the discs never hit any part of the wheel . They only come into contact with the bobbins which is why I'm just checking that's the cause. Otherwise it's something up with the discs which I doubt.
