I think it was the shock factor really, as I was trying the bike for the first time I had just got used to servo brakes being brilliant! The bike did stop, it just took a couple of seconds to find out that if I pulled REALLY hard that some braking was avalable, so that combined with less braking power meant I travelled 15-20 yds further than I was expecting.
Russ the bike had 10500 miles on it, as the shop said "used every day in all weathers" They did not seem surprized, thats a worry.BMW need to look at this I think,
Should I still buy the bike?thats whats going thro my mind today, as I say have left deposit despite this "experiance " cause it was faultless(dohh) other wise!
