Brake failure!

Can anyone help me? I brought back my 1200gs back from Germany when I repatriated in 2007. I am converting it to MPH so I fitted a UK spec instrument cluster that i bought on ebay. All seems to work ok but the brake failure flashing warning light is now activated. The bike has ABS but nothing is wrong with the brakes. How do I turn off the warning light?

Have you had a look in the handbook as it gives the failure causes for the differing way the lights flash

I believe the light flashes untill you start to ride it, i assume you've tried this I think i read on another thread that a change of instrumment cluster requires a trip to the dealers to reprogram/reset the hoojimaflip .
