Brake flange refit

Hi All
I am soon to refit a rear wheel brake flange due to cracked lugs. Upon refitment is it advisable to use some sort of antiseize or locktite. I have read previous posts on the demise of the flange.

If you google 'r1200gs final drive' you might find something that closely resembles a workshop manual with details of assembly.

Google is a wonderous thing is it not, I had done a search, obviously but missed it.Tools I am using not as upmarket as ones shown , luckily I have a lathe and such at home to knock something up.

The manual says heat it and press it on dry. I heated mine and beat it on using a rubber hammer. If I was doing it again, I would heat it hotter, and use a studbar through the hub centre with washers etc. to pull it on, while beating it with rubber hammer. A small dart of wd40 would not harm.
