nope just have a look underneath and u will see the 3 screws in a triangle pattern

I just spotted them....

Got it off and gave it a clean, it was very dirty in there... Hope it solves the prob!!

There is a thread (I think on this site) where someone has enclosed the light unit with some perspex to stop all the road goo collecting all over the lamp contacts

From the posts I assume the GS doesn't have an adjuster on the rear brake lever assembly, like Honda, for changing how much lever travel is required for turning the rear light on?

There is an adjuster on the 1200...... but not sure whether to adjust it up or down!
