Is there a fix for brake squeal. Only makes the noise at low speed just before stopping, no it's not the tyres !

Place copper grease behind pads between pistons and the actuall pad. Be VERY CAREFUL you do not get the grease on the pad material. Also you should put a bit on the heel of the pads where they sit in the caliper
Earplugs seem to help me 
I had this problem on my one and had the retaining bolts and washers on the front discs replaced as a mod by BMW have not had a problem since that was back in 2005.
