Had the front tyre replaced yesterday and when I washed the bike after a very salty run out after I have noticed that the front wheel is very stiff. Normally it free wheels when pushed on it's centre stand, it now grinds to a halt.

What is the collectives advice, do take the calipers off and clean them out or should I be looking for something else. I did 60 miles after tyre change in nasty sand salt conditions but wash bike off after.

An advice welcome.

It may be from when the wheel was refitted.

Sometimes when you`re tightening the spindle, the fork sliders get pulled in a bit more than they should be...thus causing the brakes to drag a bit.

The right hand side one in particular...slacken the pinch bolt and try to move it out a bit.
(That`s the proper right hand side...left when viewed from the front)
Check `em both anyway.
