Brand New GSA Keyless not working?

Just tried again and now it starts?
Going to take it to the dealers tomorrow.

Bmw assist sent someone who was clueless with bmw' s so of no help really.

Maybe dis-connecting the battery had reset the ECU and just needed a bit of time to sort itself out.

You should make sure that you report that back to them when they send you a Customer Satisfaction request

On my last GSA they arrived with a flat bed ready to take the bike away and the chap did have knowledge about these bikes, this one turned up in an AA kind of transit which would've meant another recovery vehicle being sent had the bike been a non starter.

On my last GSA they arrived with a flat bed ready to take the bike away and the chap did have knowledge about these bikes, this one turned up in an AA kind of transit which would've meant another recovery vehicle being sent had the bike been a non starter.

That’s the AA’s standard procedure regardless of the vehicle.
They have to attend with a standard patrol vehicle to then upline it for a full recovery. If it’s a smaller car the they will use the tow dolly.
Anything else is a specific recovery

Had the AA come out to me in the transit due to a nail in the front sidewall.
I was a bit ticked off that they had sent the van when it obviously needed to be lifted.
To my surprise the guy proceeded to unfold and assemble a motorcycle dolly out of a cubby hole in the van. I don’t believe every van has them but they do have a few of them.

Turns of the fob is knackered, keeps draining the batteries.

Off to Germany tomorrow so i'll buy loads of batteries just incase and get it sorted when I return.

Post 16 below similar issue you are not alone, if it is eating batteries up might as well get a load of the cheapest 2032,s you can find.

Further to my last post, I am now back from my Euro jaunt, and had the bike serviced on my return. I told them about the problems with the keyless system, and they've done a software update as part of the service. The fault seems to have cleared. I had a full day out yesterday, and it behaved all day.
