Just back from 18k service on my 650 twin. New rear calliper required as the sliders had sized (sp?) so bad, that the calliper and mounting bracket had become one part  Extended warranty time :) new calliper and pads fitted then off home ;)

Questions

... Any one else had issues with this?

... How many times can you walk round a dealers without wanting to change your bike ;)

OP - yep but it does separate as only one of the pins can become stuck (by nature of the design) so there is always a little wriggle room to get it free. I think on these bikes lubing the sliding pins should be an annual service item as the rubber boots seem to fail and leak quite regularly.

And i'm the same - i've been wanting an S1000RR forever and now there's the even an HP...

Glad you had the warranty, those calipers are not cheap!

:rob I'll tell Ya Something.....,,,,,,, LOL,,. If they include a bike in the £750 + accessories purchase I'll grab a mitt full of the 0% interest at my local dealership

I Can't resist the walk around, I just need to find the spondulies :D:D:D

With my F650twin after a dealership adjustment I had my rear BrAke and and disc seize. The disc glowed well in the dark. Fair play to them they came and collected the bike and changed the disc, pads and all checked over. :thumby::D
