The best one is the included one in your bike insurance. For me that is Carole Nash on the bike and Prudential's freebie Green Flag on the car.

If you have to pay for a separate policy then, as a forum search would've discovered, the best value is Europ Assistance from http://www.quotelinedirect.co.uk/ - last time I looked it was £59 for an annual policy, UK & Europe.

I'm with the R.A.C, good thing is its ME thats covered not the bike or car, being a mechanic I wanted just recovery to work/home from anywhere plus a mate is a patrol man for them and I got his discount, but they advertise everyday in the press 20% off.

It all depends on what you want
Do you want basic roadside repairs
or do you want recovery home for you to sort out later
quite a few of the bigger clubs have specialist bike mechanics
problem being availability of spares
so don't expect a repair
i am with britania csma i am quite happy just to get recovery home
i pay £79 direct debit this covers me and the wife for any vehicle we are in up to the weight limit and my daughter has vehicle based membership included in this price
discount for civil service
